(Little White Lies: Frida Kahlos Love & Heartbreaks)

Dont worry about finding a unique date idea for Valentines Day weekend weve got you covered with Mentiras Piadosas: Amores y Desamores de Frida Kahlo (Little White Lies: Frida Kahlos Loves & Heartbreaks).

Mentiras Piadosas is a unique storytelling experience, exploring the lesser known side of Frida Kahlo through live music, pictures, video and living picture recreations of Fridas iconic self portraits, plus dresses inspired by Fridas life and art. Come sing along to the songs Frida Kahlo loved, while learning about her other loves and passions, her bittersweet relationship with Diego Rivera, and even her passion for her clothing, which are all evidenced in her self-portraits.

This special performance is presented by two amazing Los Angeles based women: Dr. Gloria Arjona, with Karin Guerra performing as Frida Kahlo. Professor Gloria Arjona has spent the last 10 years of her career exploring and analyzing Frida Kahlos loves and passions through her paintings, and mostly through Fridas constant musical references in her art.

The majority of the performance is in English with songs in Spanish.
