Featuring
Chris Trapper is a storyteller. With his soulful, honeyed tenor, sly humor and an uncanny knack for melody, Chris has traveled the world over, performing to a dedicated and ever growing fan base with nothing but his guitar and his songs. Raised on Prine and Kristofferson, Trappers first foray in the music industry was as front-man of the critically acclaimed alt-rock band The Push Stars (Capitol Records). Over the past decade, Chris has become a modern day acoustic troubadour, performing over 150 dates a year as a headliner and sharing the stage with the likes of Colin Hay, Martin Sexton and even John Prine himself.

Chris' original song, “This Time,” was the No. 1-selling tune on the Grammy-nominated soundtrack for “August Rush.: His songs have a pop-appeal, but with the intelligence and depth of complete movies—novella worlds he brings his audience to with skill and emotion.

Antigone Rising's founding sisters Cathy and Kristen Henderson and front-woman Nini Camps have always had the same philosophy: Play better than the boys and make sure the fans feel like part of the family. This New York-based all-female rock band has left an indelible mark on an industry best known for leaving girl (bands) behind. Photo by Kathleen DiResta
