When it comes to all-time great earworm creators, Cole Porter's right up there with the best, and you can hear a whole slew of his classic tunes in "Anything Goes". In fact, of all his Broadway hits, Porter considered it one of two perfect shows he ever created. And it's not hard to see why, with songs like "I Get a Kick Out of You," "You're the Top" and, of course, the catchy title number, plus a witty a book co-written by master humorist P. G. Wodehouse. This boy-meets-girl roller coaster ride centers on a young Wall Street broker who falls hopelessly in love with a wealthy heiress, and stows away on a ship in order to pursue her. Throw an evangelist-turned-nightclub-singer and a second-rate gangster into the mix and you've got the makings of a classic. Don't miss Rockville Musical Theatre's production of "Anything Goes" at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre.
