Featuring
The four members of the pop band Dru Hill first established themselves in the early 90s, while all working at a fudge shop in their hometown of Baltimore, Maryland. The quartet would sing traditional gospel songs while making fudge, much to customers delight. Eventually the group started working toward making singing a career and would later find success by mixing its gospel foundation with a more modern, R&B style sound reminiscent of popular groups of the time, such as Boyz II Men and Jodeci. Various members have also enjoyed some fleeting solo success, with Mark "Sisqo" Andrews (known for the "Thong Song") being the most notable. In 2010, a television show chronicling the group's work on new album, InDRUpendence Day called "Keith Sweat's Platinum House" premiered on the cable channel, Centric.
