The Abyssinians

The Abyssinians is a roots reggae group from Jamaica that was formed in 1969. The group is perhaps best known for its tight vocal harmonies and lyrics that promote the furthering of the Rastafarian movement in Jamaica. Over the course of the group's lengthy career, The Abyssinians has continued to build upon the tradition of roots reggae both at home and abroad, influencing countless similar acts in the process.
