John Wesley Coleman III

John Wesley Coleman III is a punk rock singer/songwriter from Austin, Texas whose intense dislike for the term "singer/songwriter" has led him to label himself as a "trash poet." Indeed, given the rather uncouth subject matter of many of Coleman's songs, the sobriquet fits him well. His album American Trashcan, in proper punk fashion, takes his listeners on a roller coaster ride through the gutter in an attempt to bring to the surface the hidden, unsavory characteristics of his hometown.
