Aceyalone

One of the founders of the hip-hop/jazz fusion group Freestyle Fellowship, Aceyalone is a prominent member of the West Coast hip-hop underground scene. Born Eddie Hayes in Los Angeles, Aceyalone is equally influenced by the freestyle rappers of his home city and of musical styles of the past--R&B, soul and funk. Since releasing his solo album in 1995, the rapper has consistently produced widely acclaimed music, either solo or as a member of various hip-hop groups.
