Earl Poole Ball & the Cosmic Americans is a country rock group from Austin, Texas that is led by the famous "Mr. Honky-Tonk Piano," Earle Poole Ball. The Cosmic Americans is the newest incarnation of Ball's backup band, and on the whole, is considered to perfectly compliment the time-tested country rock stylings of one of the genre's most sought after talents. However, despite the genuine talent of the Cosmic Americans, there's no doubt that the star of the show is Mr. Honky-Tonk Piano himself, whose extensive performance and recording history speaks volumes about his skills as a performer on stage, as an arranger/songwriter and on the piano.
