At just 22 years of age, Calvin Harris already had a hit debut album released by music giant, Sony BMG. That album, I Created Disco put the Scotland-based electronic producer on the map, spawning dance club favorites such as "Acceptable in the 1980s" and "The Girls." Harris utilizes the steady pulse of house music in many of his songs, layering synthesizer-heavy electropop with dashes of disco beats to create dense, uptempo dance tracks. Harris is also a popular remix artist, reworking tracks from the likes of CSS, Groove Armada and Jamiroquai, and has written songs for or collaborated with top-selling artists, Dizzee Rascal and Kylie Minogue. With so much already under his belt at such a young age, it would seem that Harris has a prolific and successful career ahead of him.
