Puddle of Mudd is an alternative rock band originally based out of Kansas City. Though it has roots dating back as early as 1992, the band really gained exposure in the 2000s, joining the era's pack of post-grunge, hard rock-influenced radio bands that includes groups such as Nickelback, Creed and Fuel. In 2001, Puddle of Mudd had the pleasure of signing to Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst's record label, as the group's pop-filtered, chuggy distorted guitar rock is perfectly tailored for fans of modern rock radio.
