Producer, DJ and head of San Francisco-based label Frite Nite, Paul Salva has established himself as a formidable presence on California's Low End Theory electronic music scene, prominent both in San Francisco and Los Angeles. As a producer, he goes simply by Salva and seamlessly blends ghettotech beats, old school funk, Southern house, dubstep and a slew of other electronic music subgenres. While Salva might not fit neatly into one specific niche, he seems content to experiment, drawing upon various influences and creating something impressively cohesive and enjoyable.
