Augustana

After four guys bonded over a mutual affection for piano-based pop rock in 2002, they decided to form Augustana and the band has since grown into a group that's not afraid of creating a true-to-heart style of music The band's radio friendly tunes are easily accessible for most people and even though the quartet's overtly chipper style might be difficult for some to stomach, the group has found a fairly sizable fan base that considers the band unique and emotionally deep. While Augustana's instrumentalists aren't extremely adept--never really wowing listeners with stunning guitar, keyboard or drum solos--the group prides itself on lyrics that speak to nearly everyone who has gone through a heartbreaking romantic experience or difficult life period.
