EPMD

EPMD is a hip-hop duo from Brentwood, New York and is regarded as one of east coast hip-hop's most preeminent acts. The duo is comprised of emcees Eric Sermon and Parish Smith, and both have been active on and off since helping birth the hip-hop scene in 1986. With several successful LPs released over the course of EPMD's decades-spanning career, the duo continues to remain relevant in the ever-changing world of hip-hop, and is considered by many to be godfathers of the genre.
