After listening to Zsa+Claire, one would likely assume the duo was based out of a small Southern town in the US. However, despite falling in the genre of Americana-styled folk, the two women were born and raised in Singapore. With Zsa providing the singer/songwriter guitar work and rich vocals, and Claire providing the classical-influenced violin, the duo's music is fairly minimalist, but well made. After forming in 2006, Zsa+Claire began playing coffee shops and small venues, winning over audiences with a blend of traditional Americana covers and new material.
