Tony "Tum Tum" Richardson is a southern rap/hip-hop artist from Dallas, Texas whose goal is to transform the image of Dallas as home to a few dubious oil tycoons and football teams into that of a thriving hip-hop mecca. So far, Tum Tum's efforts, along with those of his hip-hop collective, Dirty South Ridahs (DSR), have been largely successful at dispelling some of Dallas' more infamous myths in favor of bringing the sounds of the city's growing hip-hop community to the surface. Many are celebrating Tum Tum's debut album Eat or Get Ate as the announcement of a powerful new player entering the world of hip-hop who just may end up putting a Texas-sized dent in the genre.
