The Riff Raff

UK five-piece The Riff Raff sums up modern Britpop with its lively harmonies and guitar-driven melodies that reflect Madchester bands of the past as well as post punk revivalists. Formed in 2006, the band has since won over several BBC Radio DJs and even Sir Paul McCartney, who have all proclaimed the group as England's rising star. While The Riff Raff's recorded material doesn't quite do the band justice, easily able to fade into the background, its live performances are truly impressive and rather charming.
