Chick Corea

Armando Anthony "Chick" Corea has had a storied career as a piano player: after a humble beginning, honing his skills and working with mainly unknown musicians; Corea got involved in avant garde jazz and worked with Miles Davis in the early 1970s; after getting more interested in jazz, Corea transitioned into jazz fusion and ever since the fabled piano player has been churning out innovative jazz albums and touring occasionally. Anthony passed away in 2021 at the age of 79 from a rare form of cancer.
