The Globes

The Globes is a four-piece indie-rock band originally hailing from Spokane, Washington, but is now based in Seattle. Formed when its members were still in high school, the band quickly rose to the top of the local Seattle indie scene with its dazzlingly intricate, interwoven guitar lines. The band's sound takes a lot from the angular chops of early post-rock pioneers like Slint, but applies that sonic template to a deft songwriting sensibility similar to that of fellow Pacific Northwesterners Death Cab For Cutie.
