The Boat People is a indie pop quartet from Brisbane, Australia that was in 2000. After playing for a few years in its home country, the group was able to build a strong reputation for itself and in 2005 The Boat People released its debut album, yesyesyesyesyes. The album went on to receive noted critical acclaim and as the band continues to crank out music and tour the world, its notoriety has continued to grow.
