The Baseball Project is a rock supergroup that was formed in 2008. Comprised of Scott McCaughey, Steve Wynn, Linda Pitmon and Peter Buck, the band plays songs based on stories from the game of baseball. The group's debut album, Volume 1: Frozen Ropes and Dying Quails, was released in 2008.
