Japanese jazz musican Takashi Kamide was able to overcome many obstacles early in his life to become a very unique performer. Kamide describes himself as mad at the world after serveral serious illnesses as a child and teenager. But through support from friends and family he was able to overcome this and today emphasizes joy and love in his music. His concerts are intimate affairs, with just Kamide and his accordion playing a selection of original and cover songs.
