Suplecs

Suplecs is a stoner/southern rock band from New Orleans, Louisiana that managed to ingeniously combine the flavor and spice of Creole rock with the more laid back (though appropriately appetite-inducing) grooves of stoner rock. Formed in 1996, Suplecs immediately found an audience for its special blend of music and became a regular act in New Orleans for nearly a decade. Despite being set back for years by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Suplecs was able to bounce back in full, if not improved form in 2011 with the release of its anticipated debut album Mad Oak Redoux, which should give this act a place amongst the greats of Creole rock.
