The Drowsy Chaperone

The Drowsy Chaperone is a theater production that parodies several well-known musicals comedies from the 1920s. The show tells the story of a musical theater fan and savant who is transported into his favorite musical, The Drowsy Chaperone, and while inside the fictional world offers his dry commentary to critique the actors, music and story. After making its Broadway debut in 2006, the show has won several industry awards, including a Tony Award for Best Original Score.
