Streetlab is an electro-rock duo from Brooklyn, New York that rose to the attention of several renowned music publications such as Rolling Stone for their clever remixes of classic rock hits, effectively bringing acts such as the Beatles and the Rolling Stones into the clubbing scene. As a result, Streetlab has managed to unite two rather disparate groups of people--club goers and rockers. Streetlab's remixes are considered by many to be a godsend for the genre due to their ability to convince many others who doubt the artistry of remixing existing music.
