Initially pursuing a career in acting, Sarabeth Tucek soon realized her calling was in the music world, where she found a home immediately, collaborating with Bill Callahan of Smog on his 2003 album Supper then managing to get one of her first solo songs into Sundance favorite DiG, a documentary about the combustible band Brian Jonestown Massacre. Based out of Brooklyn, Tucek's rich voice and vintage-sounding folk rock has garnered her opening slots for greats like Bob Dylan, and a particularly large audience in the UK.
