Inspired by his experiences escaping war-torn Suriname at the age of just 18, Prince Koloni (aka Orniel Siwo) is now a respected reggae artist known to spread positive messages with his music. Roots reggae combines with elements of dub and a touch of modern production gloss in his songs, which are sung in his high, almost falsetto vocal style. Fluent in several languages, including French, English and Portuguese, Prince Koloni is also a well-regarded public speaker who promotes Rastafarian ideals and hope for peace in his speeches.
