Pedropiedra

Pedro Subercaseaux is somewhat of a musical jack-of-all-trades in his home country of Chile. Operating under his artistic moniker, Pedropeidra, Subercaseaux works as a singer/songwriter, film score composer and hip-hop producer, constantly bouncing around from project to project. His solo material is best described as Latin-infused rock that is reliant on catchy acoustic guitar progressions and occasional forays into reggae and ska-influenced pop. Subercaseaux's music hasn't garnered much attention outside of Chile as of yet, but its light and accessible style should be a nice introduction for anyone looking for a glimpse of the country's modern pop scene.
