Paleo is a prolifically-minded American indie folk musician who has dedicated himself to his craft in the truest sense. Despite being homeless and living out of his car for nearly five years, he managed to play over 150 shows a year in houses, coffee shops, dingy bars and anywhere else that would have him. For one of those years, Paleo kept what he called "The Song Diary," which saw him writing and recording a song each and every day. Having successfully paid his dues, his brand of quirky folk pop and fragile, Nick Drake-inspired ruminations has finally began to catch on, most recently evidenced by a 2009 signing with Partisan Records, home of popular alt-folk/country rockers Deertick.
