Orlando

Orlando is an indie pop singer/songwriter from Tijuana, Mexico whose tireless search for a new brand of Mexican pop has resulted in a sound that has many critics of independent music singing the young musician's praises. Orlando's music is seen as an exploration of what makes a song a "pop" song, but it is his voice that conveys new and interesting things to the listener, where a lesser vocalist might just come across as another pop song crooner. With the release of his debut album Capullo (Cocoon) in 2010, Orlando has hit on a sound that may redefine Mexican pop.
