One Buck Short (also OBS for short) is a punk rock band from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia--a place where one might least expect a punk band, much less an internationally recognized one, to come about. However, come about OBS did, and with a musical tenacity and social angst that most up-and-coming punk acts in this day and age only dream of. Since the band formed in 2001 as a means for like-minded student musicians to perform at events and school contests, One Buck Short has since risen to become one of, if not the premier punk rock act in Southeast Asia.
