OLIVETREEdance is a dance/world music trio from Portugal that is taking the dance music scene by storm with its inspired combination of African and Brazilian tribal sounds, jazz and contemporary dance music. Armed with various percussion instruments and the famed indigenous Australian didgeridoo, played by band front man Renato Oliveira, OLIVETREEdance appears to be starting a new trend in using actual instruments in dance music as opposed to relying on machines to reproduce their sound.
