Oslo, Norway five-piece Making Marx (previously My Little Pony) is an indie pop band that writes songs in a traditional American folk style. Most of the group's songs are acoustic-driven, with minimal percussion and additional instrumentation. The band sometimes uses 1980s era synthesizers to add a melodic novelty to the band's already-precious pop romanticism. The group's second album is titled Making Marks, released in January of 2011.
