Ganglians

If the Sacramento based lo-fi garage rock outfit Ganglians were playing a foul weather music festival and people started throwing mud at the band, the group would probably sound the same, if not better, with wet dirt caked to their guitar pickups and splattered against their speakers. The band has a distinctively dirty sound and it is only heightened by the fact that none of the members are that skilled of instrumentalists. Sure, they can play - but, when it comes to technical prowess and virtuostic solos, the band kinda falls flat. This is sorta a good thing though - seeing a band of misanthropes perform no nonsense American pub rock tunes is refreshing and something everyone should see at least once a year, if not more.
