Lee MacDougall

Grimsby is a small city, well-known for its fishing industry, located on the Eastern coast of England. Growing up in the seaport village must have been quite boring for singer/songwriter, Lee MacDougall and it's evident in his songs that a sense of escapism was an integral part of his life as a youngster. He writes soft, radio-friendly pop tunes on his acoustic guitar, and his youthful aesthetic undoubtedly helps him reel in throngs of young fans who feel the same way he used to. Though MacDougall learned how to strum the six-string when he was 13 years old, it wasn't until 2010 that his eponymous solo EP was released.
