La Santa Cecilia is a Grammy Award-winning Latin alternative band from Los Angeles, California. The band is composed of lead vocalist Marisol "La Marisoul" Hernandez, accordionist Jose "Pepe" Carlos, percussionist Miguel "Oso" Ramirez, and bassist Alex Bendana. The band's music is a unique blend of Latin American styles, including cumbia, bolero, rumba, tango, and bossa nova. La Santa Cecilia has released four studio albums, beginning with their self-titled debut in 2013. Their second album, Someday New, was released in 2015 and featured the hit single "I Won't Cry". The band's third album, Amar y Vivir, was released in 2017 and won the Grammy Award for Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album. Their most recent album, La Santa Cecilia, was released in 2019 and features the single "La Negra".
