The full-band extension of the more traditional DJ work of DJ Kromac, Kromac's big band sounds like something that shouldn't work. It's an 11-piece band comprised of a barbershop quartet, stand-up bass, drums, a horn section, a clarinet and a banjo. And they're playing hip hop. It's as bizarre and as revelatory an auditory and visual experience as any music fan is likely to have.
