Jessica Lea Mayfield

Singer/songwriter Jessica Lea Mayfield is an Ohio-based artist who writes gothic folk songs with a subtle twang. Generally crooning about fairly dark topics - unfaithfulness, insanity
and loneliness - Mayfield sings with enough innocence and warmth to keep
her music rather charming. Mayfield first appeared as a guest vocalist on The Black Keys album Attack & Release and impressed front-man Dan Auerbach so much that he offered to produce her debut and subsequent albums. After grabbing the attention of revered label Nonesuch, Mayfield released her second album to widespread acclaim in 2011.
