Jen Lane is a Canadian folk singer who draws on the work of country music divas like Lucinda Williams as well as 90s indie girl groups such as Tegan & Sara. Recording her debut album at 16 and performing in Canadian bars and venues before she was actually allowed inside, the singer/songwriter had garnered more experience by the age of 25 than many musicians have at 40. Lane's songs combine a catchy, pop flavor with a more relaxed Americana vibe and have won her a fairly diverse following.
