Husalah is a hip hop artist and rapper who served jail time for selling cocaine in 2006 - the same year his debut LP Dope, Guns, and Religion was released. The California native first cut his teeth in the music industry by performing with the hip-hop group Mob Figaz, which had mild success in the late 1990s. Jail didn't stop Husalah, though, he still raps and continues to release studio material.
