Haley Bonar

Haley Bonar relocated from South Dakota to Portland, Oregon in an attempt to be inspired and write more songs. She released her fourth LP, Big Star, in 2008 to a variety of local accolades for her folk-country ballads and smoky voice. The album was more hi-fidelity than her previous releases and therefore taken more serious by average music listeners. Although she is skilled at writing songs with both a piano and guitar, she usually chooses to perform with just an acoustic guitar and a sparse rhythm section.
