A painter, songwriter and sound designer decided to form a band in Sweden named Fredrik. Isolating themselves in an old house amongst horrible weather, the group set to work crafting pop folk songs that feature nontraditional instruments to create odd overtones and moods to the music. The group set out to record a trilogy of records Holm, Ava and Ner that each had its own theme and featured foldable cover art meant to be shaped into origami patterns. This attracted the attention of a lot of underground music fans and those releases started selling to the point where they're now collectors items. In 2010 Fredrik released all of the music on one CD Trilogi so that more fans could listen to the music.
