Exene Cervenka

Exene Cervenka, born Christine Cervenka, is a punk/folk rock musician, as well as a writer and artist from Los Angeles. Cervenka is perhaps best known as the co-lead singer for the punk rock band X, formed in 1980. Together with the band, Exene went on to release six critically acclaimed albums before going on hiatus in the-late 90s. Despite committing a majority of her time since her tenure with X to writing and art, Exene also takes singing and songwriting very seriously, and can be seen performing at venues and festivals throughout the country.
