Emergency Blanket, also known simply as "the Blankets," is an indie pop rock band from Peru that, in 2010, rose to international prominence by winning London's People's Choice Award in the Metal/Punk/Indie/Rock category. The Blankets' sound harks back to the classic rock era of the 60s and 70s as well as the alternative rock era of the 90s.
