Eddie (usually spelled as EDDIE) is a Brazilian indie rock group that got its start in the mid-90s on the wave of the mangue beat (bit) movement in Northeastern Brazil. Combining the sounds of rock, reggae, samba and other region-specific Latin beats into their unique brand of music, EDDIE strives for a groove that retains the interest of audiences, while at the same time keeping things smooth and relaxed.
