American DJ and producer, Urales Vargas, popularly known as DJ Buddha, pioneered a new style of electronic music by incorporating dancehall, reggae, and reggaetón into his signature sound. With his mixtapes, Tropical Heat and Caribbean Connection, he brought in a fresh perspective to the electronic dance music industry. Post that, the Dominican-descent DJ went on to compose many such mixtapes, bringing in his Latin influence to produce some dance-floor-friendly numbers. This gained him critical acclaim from various mainstream media and record labels including Rolling Stone and NY Times. Some of his most popular remixes include T.O.K.'s "Gal Yuh A Lead," featuring Beenie Man & Nina Sky, and Daddy Yankee’s “Gasolina," featuring Pitbull, Lil Jon & N.O.R.E.
