Mexico City four-piece, Dirty Karma, is an indie rock act that formed in 2005. The group's members have all been friends since childhood, which no doubt adds to the overall synchronicity of the band. Dirty Karma's music will be easily accessible for fans of modern rock. Though it incorporates influences from more specific genres, such as garage rock's spirit and the jittery rhythms of post punk, the band's music is presented in an easily palatable format that bares a strong resemblance to the radio alt-rock being produced by Mexico's northern neighbor in the United States. The band's debut LP, Four Elephants, was released in 2009.
