Dance Laury Dance

Dance Laury Dance is a five-piece from Quebec City that creates a modern-spun rehash of 1980s hard rock. The speed metal guitar riffs that Motorhead built its name upon loom heavily over Dance Laury Dance, as does a blues rock sensibility that finds the group occasionally settling into slower, but no less heavy, grooves. One look at the leather jackets, mullets and kitschy band member pseudonyms, however, and it's clear these guys are cheekily sending up the hard rock and hard-partying ways of bands such as Motley Crue and Guns N' Roses.
