Casual

Bay Area rapper Casual is a founding member of the famous hip-hop collective Hieroglyphics. Casual has released his own solo material as well, including 1994's commercial success Fear Itself. Casual is known for his battle rapping acumen, a skill he has taken as far as challenging rappers he has beef with to a battle rap rather than behind-the-back slandering. Casual has been a central component to all Hieroglyphics releases and continues to tour and make music with the group. Casual often lends his productions to Hieroglyphs records as well. In 2005 Casual released the solo record Smash Rockwell.
