Battle Circus is a New Zealand quartet that blends the grungy guitars of alt rock, the quirky strings of dark cabaret and the eerie dissonance of gothic punk. The result is apparently the perfect soundtrack for a vampire show, as HBO, upon hearing the band's debut EP, requested permission to use multiple tracks on its popular vampire series "True Blood." With this exposure, the group was able to expand its fan base from its home country to abroad and tour worldwide.
