Comprised of two of Germany's preeminent production talents, Tom Strauch and Ingo Moll, Ancient Astronauts creates melodically downtempo tunes that are occasionally used as a foundation for hip-hop lyricists to rap over. Though the duo's tunes might come off as simplistic and overtly slow, both Strauch and Moll add layers upon layers of samples and ornate, self-composed beats to the music to help add some sly depth to many of the tracks.
